I love my songs...
Been listening to the radio quite a bit lately... mostly, well actually totally, through the web (via 987fm's website). And there's a plethora of great hits that have been flooding the airwaves, many of which I really yearn to download. But alas, in line with the "I will try my best to not knowingly commit a crime" resolution I made after a certain traumatic experience, I have willed myself to not download or torrent it or whatever.
At least not illegally that is.
And it's painful, to listen to songs that you really love and not being able to download it into your PC and then transfer it to your MP3 player - it's excruciating! Argh...
So I thought of the next best alternative - to buy tracks from legal music websites online. And they had betetr be credible right? Or else you may get ripped and not even know it, or even worse, breach any regulations unknowingly. So I went to check out Yahoo! Music (credible enough bah) and guess what? Their songs are pretty down-to-date! I was like "Argh! Don't you guys stock up on songs fast? You should include these songs in your inventory while it's still hot and making its presence in the charts, and not wait till people are over it. Strike while the iron's hot man!"
But sadly my thoughts can only travel so far. Not over to the US. So nevermind, I shall just contend with listening to it on the radio. Or if my ears are really itchy, I just might pop over to youtube and listen to the song from there; and maybe put it on re-loop the whole day long until I get sick of it, and tah-dah! My problem is solved! Hah.
Bags packed almost to fruition; research almost completed; nearly ready to head off to perth in 2 days time! Yea yea yea! Although the price I had to pay was pretty high (kind of in both senses of the word, I think...) I hope it's well worth it.
