CNY is coming!
Yesh, I can smell the festive breeze blowing oh so strongly now, coupled with the usual songs that blast thru the speakers at so many shops including NTUC and the likes. I duno why, but I am so anticipating this coming CNY. Maybe it's because I have already ORD-ed s it's like a renewed frredom for me? I remember telling myself not to fret about the 2 years cuz at least 2007's CNY will be spent "un-green"-ly. Yep.
And perhaps it;s also because my current job which doesn't happent o pay very well by the way, is stressing me out. Yep. How do I tell? I have a PFI to rely on. That' the Pimple on the Face Index. Pimples are starting to pop out again which doesnt augur well, especially not so when I am starting to take oral and superficial medication to combat it. Yes, It's an all-out war!
But I guess one should be open to new experiences. I should try to view my current "predicament" (oops there I go again with the cynicism) as an oppurtunity to "character-build" (I wonder why so many people like to use that phrase). I really do hope to learn quite a bit out of this.
Can't wait for the long CNY weekend. That plus the fact that February is a short month means that it'll be over soon, and that also means more time shaved off my current contract. Hopefully with the money that I have earned, I would be able to finance myself fully for my much-awaited trip to Russia and Mongolia aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway. It's gonna be such an experience.
CNY. Think of the pineapple tarts, the kueh bangkits, the bak kwas, ooooh. And of course the red packets. Hieh.
