Yet another crazy week for crazy me

Yet another hectic week man. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing this to myself but heck! Youthfulness is meant to be worked out man. Baby you've gotta work it out! For yourself and other worthy causes of course, not for unnecessary parties like the SAF (which I sadly had to for these past few weeks... altho I can feel the whole episode coming to end soon...)

So after that long 47 hour thingy I went thru, my body and mind battered and bruised and whatnot later... I kind of went through another long torturous session again... albeit not as straining as the sunday that just passed...

After returning to camp on Mon, I had guard duty la... So anyway because there was still so much shyt left over from saturday night, or should I say Sunday morning, that another DCC friend and I who has duty on Mon worked overtime, and again it was the kind of sleep deprived one again haha. Yes all the complains and ramblings and all... I can't help it la. Must get it out haha. So ppl will know my pain and suffering and hopefully cast light on the service sectors of the SAF. It's not slack ok??!! Well at least not all depts la... some other depts in my camp are so eng2 (hokkien for free) that they even have time to play soccer at 4pm while the Dcc-ians are slogging our guts out and vomitting blood all over the keyboard.

And the response we get? "Aiya, you all work in air-con office all day mah. Never go out and sweat still complain!" Boy would I gladly trade places. A bucket (in fact less) of sweat in exchange for a container (yes the shipyard kind) of brain juice... Very easy choice, unless, that is, you'll choose to lose the brain juice over the sweat then I think the sweat's all the more worthy for you but hey...

So anyway I stood sentry from 5.30pm to 9.30pm trying to shut the impending OT but to no avail. The mosquitoes and bullfrogs only made things worse. Um hmm... Then after that back straight to the office from 9.45pm to 1.15pm tip-a-tapping on that blasted terminal and flip-a-flapping those damned vouchers...

And then back to sentry at 1.30am (where we slept like logs on a wooden bench a la old times where our grandparents (and even our parents) would complain about having to sleep on wooden floors and how uncomfortable it was and all... yes we went RETRO.

5.30 went back... to office not bed. Work work work (like the poor peon in WCIII) and then finally at 2.30pm my body told me it couldn't take it anymore... Yes it actually SPOKE TO ME!!! This so testifies to my state of health at that time (and now too? lol)

So we requested to be let off early to "go home and rest" but of course we (the other friend who worked OT too) went to JP to enjoy ourselves after such a long dayS. Coffee bean for me and also we scouted ard for a DVD-rom drive for me muhaha...

Home. Shower. Dinner. Then....

No not rest.

TUITION!

Yes money comes first I guess? Hahaha...

Then tues and wed night I had tuition too...

Thursday OT again! I dun wanna talk about it but it was a really *(^*&%&*-king evening la... Everybody was visibly strained and they still wanted us to work OT. But we keft at 10pm anyways la... Din have to work till late as we had earlier been led to believe...

Hmm ya... then Good Friday. Oh GOOD Friday. You din come at a better time. Finally some R&R for this deserving gentleman please? Was supposed to have a double bill (tuition) in the morning but (un?)fortunately they cancelled and so I had a morning to myself albeit less cash in the pocket. Afternoon was JB galore again with LS... The only spoiler was that we had to queue for an hour and 15 minutes at the Msian customs. Really hot, inefficient and downright cheap. Again not a very good topic for discussion. The expletives would have been overwhelming.

So moving on. Guard duty yesterday. (Yes. Why does everything have to stack up against each other? Good rhetoric qn. I have no answer to that myself...) And came back home today. Actually I kind of 逃过一节. (is it this jie2?) The DCC-ians were supposed to come back today to do OT. I crapped that I was tired form doing duty yesterday till this morning so I could escape muhaha.... I was so tired until I could still give tuition from 12 to 5.30 hahaha. If my campmates see this they'll flip man.

Yep. That's another crazy week for crazy terence. Next week: NO GUARD DUTY AT ALL!!! YAHOO! WOOHOO! *HOO! (You fill in the blanks yourself I'm too lazy to type it all out... :S) But of course, my students (and the money) coming first, mon to thurs evenings are all taken up by (all together now, 1,2,3...) TUITION! Friday is badminton day yeah! Have not had a session for TWO ice ages now...

Signing out... trying to fuel my week ahead! Ciao!
