Atrocious April
Yet another week has passed... and a rather lazy one in fact. For starters, I didn't stick to my rule of exercising at least thrice a week as I have religiously kept to doing over the last 2 weeks. (yes it's hard to believe but it's true haha...) Probably because I went to the gym with LS last sunday... and so my muscles were aching on monday and I decided to give them a rest la and go for PT on tues. Then suay suay I had to fall down from our shuttle bus on monday evening leaving a big bruise on my right knee cap lah. So suay :S. Then I didn't go for PT on tues lor cuz everytime my knee bent it would hurt.
Then Wed I had guard duty and considering the fact that I h ad tuition on thurs which I would directly go for after book out on thurs, I decided not to attend wed's training as well... so as not to tire myself out on thurs. Turned out I still managed to get a good rest on thurs morning after duty and so I still had a wee bit of concentration and energy left. But work couldn't be completed on thurs... which was qute scary since the thought of OT lingered precariously...
Thankfully it din materialise... and I was still able to go for my lesson. My first with a new student acty... had to leave a good impression mah or else if it's off to bad start, I can forget about future ups in the ante haha...
Turns out the guy kept asking for tuition to be pushed back to later timings. Haha. I'm not the only "irresponsible" person k? But the mom wasn;t around when I went la so acty enough with all this showmanship! The chap was quite nice too la, so good money, good "company" too?
Then I took a half day off on fri. A well deserved one I should say. I had tonnes of re-runs to watch and I was quite exhausted from the week's work. Partly also cuz my partner was slakcing so much. So I just piew off on fri and left him with all the shyt leftover from thurs to clean up. neh neh ni boo boo. Haha. Got a really good rest...
Then yesterday was the start of the disgusting/stupid/irritating long slew of guard duties for the month of April... 4 weekday and 2 weekend duties... and weekend duties are 24 hours summore.... so suay. All the way to this morning lor. Then rushed home. Showered and attempted to out on my contacts, then dropped my left one and couldn't find it. So I gave up. Oh and for the record I think it's a gone case cuz I still couldn;t find it after I came home.
Tuition... long long.... then finally some form of refuge from the stressful week... a VERY VERY sinful meal at Cafe Cartel with LS... I hada hawaiian prok chop (with the usual free flow of bread and iced water of course) and the both of us gluttons shared a strawberry bonanza... all in a very cozy setting in the 3 quiet tables at a nearly unnoticeable corner of the restaurant... nice spot for a good chat away from the noisy banter of others there...
Yup... that concludes my week...
And thinkign about the guard duty and my upcoming week provides no consolation to the already very sad life I have.
Tmr: Work as normal, visit grandad in hospital
Tues: Guard duty till wed
Wed: evening tuition (two 1.5 hour lessons from 8 to 11 PM)
Thurs: Hopefully able to get a half day off and if I do, afternoon tuition at Cashew and evening tuition at Springdale (the new one)
Fri: Guard duty again till sat
Sat: Have to work overtime in camp (in fact my whole dept cuz of a change in the computer system and all the keying processes in our ammo related stuff we all have to come back and learn cum key)... all the way till sunday afternoon then I can go back and rest...
Next mon: Guard duty again till tues
And just when i thought the week after next could be a relaxing one, I have guard duty again that saturday (15th...)
The only consolation? After the 15th, I only have one guard duty left on the 24th...
You almost can emphatise with me right?
