47 hour boot camp...
Atrocious April is about to turn Amiable. I guess I have just survived thru one of the more taxing weeks of my life. Even worse than baby-sitting crying one-year-olds or having and even more painful than having to report your whereabouts to your parents or gf every hour of the day (not that I know how the above two feels but hey... they sound rather cham right? haha...) Yup... so at least april is gonna get better since it cannot get any much worse than that...
Whoo... a really tough 47 hours I survived... Ok so I had tuition on thurs night la... and it was supposed to be from 8 to 10 pm la. But my dear tutee msg-ed me to push it half an hour later. Ok nvm so I went at 8.30. And he wasn't even back home either! Like WTF??! So nvm I waited till he came back at 8.45 and after he showered and changed it was like 9pm... so I tutored till 10.45 lidat and we were both quite obviously seh after that time already....
Got back home at 11.30 plus. Slept at one...
Fri: A lot of work left undone since stocks in my ammo depot dun tally and when they dun it's my tai3 ji3. Wish I could "tai4 ji2" it away lor... sadly but no chance. Hmmph. I worked my ass off trying to figure out the whole darn bloddy thing that I worked non-stop from morning till 9pm that night.... alone slogging my guts away in the office even after everyone has left at 5.30... Then straight over to the mosquito-ridden, bullfrog festering (and consequently much much noise from those *beeped* up frogs going "ker-ker-ker-ker-ker" the whole night...) sentry post which we all love so much. Yay. So happy... what a way to celebrate the finishing of my work finally at 9pm. Woohoo!
Luckily there wasn't much activity and so I could doze off for a while at sentry... Went back to admin area at 1.45am and slept from 2 to 5am. Continued sentry duty all the way till 9.30... came back to admin area and I IMMEDIATELY, without any rest of sorts, went back to work (of keying vouchers)... and it wasn't till this morning at 6.30 am that my eyes ever saw prolonged darkness... yes it was work work work all the way till 3.30am... and because we had a "shuttle rover" leaving at 5.30am, I decided to not take that short 1 hour plus nap (lest I feel even more terrible after I wake up, I've tried...). Throw in many bugs, errors and noisy unnnecessary chatter into the pot and you get the perfect vilest poison-in-a-bottle you can ever concoct..
Yup so that about sums up my really looooooooong day. Sucky noe. My body was stretched, mind wasted, spirit mulled (cuz acty at 3.30am my work wasn't finished yet... the stcks still dun tally with the numbers in the system...). I really dun how to react to the day(s). Really stressed that and weary cuz I have been stretched so thin or happy that my body and mind could survive this ordeal...
Next week, I dunno... guard duty again tmr as I have said, and then on sat again... but on the 22nd (following saturday after next) I'm SO gonna let loose. Just I dunno go out or play the whole day or sth. The playful side of me has been suppressed for so long it needs to come out. Fast and Good. Like a bomb.
