So anyway it was rather slack today, and prob for the rest of the week, cuz this week is Airman Orientation Programme so it's mainly like lectures, briefings and tlaks... all at the air-con-ed audi la so it's rather nice :D *grins*
And they told us the timings, Mon to Thur 8 to 5.30 and Fri 8 to 5. So confirmed no stay in. Anyway no sense to stay in lor... cannot have night training and it's super noisy and all. Haha. *grins again*
And my vocation is as an Air Operations Specialist (AOS) and basically we do a rather slcak un-chiong sua job of sitting in an air-coned control room and like watch radars and press control panels and give directions kind of thingey. Cool! Not like the poor ADWO (weapon operators) who still have to chiong sua. Muhahaha. Oh and we would be in No.3 from tml or wed I think! And we have no coverall so it should be No.3 all the way. And it looks smart. *grins once again*
So anyway the superiors there are in general rather nice la. Joking ard with the airmen and all (we are known as airmen as long as we have no promotion). Just a few rather stern ones initially la... not my direct sup anyway. Oh and we have to start greeting all the higher ranked ppl. And it's like OMG so many of them lor. 3rd, 2nd, 1st, Staff, Master, Cpt, Ltc-Col etc etc... sigh It'll take me a while to go recognise them. Wadeva la.
And it was nice having a long lunch break for a change. No rush and got time to chat while eating heh.
It looks optimistic but sometimes u nv noe...
