Anyway POC was on tuesday, where we officially become privates muhahaha!!! But then, there catch is (yes there's always a ctach in the army) that we have to still go back to tekong the next day to do sai gang (sai gang, noun: shit job; jobs that degrade your human personality and is totally and completely brainless). Yup. And it's for the PES A and B ppl from school 2 companies passing out that day, who inceidentally always like to laugh at us PES C (it's a neurological thing, don't ask me why). SO of course we were sian diao la, cleaning up and moving stuff and all.
And to makes matters worse, right before our really late book out (8 plus as compared to rest at what, 5 plus??), we received news that whoever missed out on BIC (Battle Innoculation Course) and Hand Grenade have to come back and make up.
WTF MAN!!!!!
I was so sian diao-ed I think the world froze and held silent for a minute for me. Wadeva la. I thought Wednesday was going to be the last I see of Tekong.
So I went back in last night, and I thought ok it's late time for us to sleep now and prepare for the tiring day tml. NOT. Because, our dear PTP batch is enlisting into Ulysses the next day (today) and we have to help to clean up Platoon 1 which is for parents to visit and go "Wow their living conditions are SOOOOO good now! Not like last time!" and for MCP fathers to go talking about how bad their training and all the wadevas they went thru last time. Try harder man.
SO anyways we had a late night. And some fu*king morons came to sleep at my section to fill up the empty beds. They sure made their presence known man. All the talking loudly and the radio and the coughing and the shuffling and the packing and the kao-bei-ing and the... you get the idea.
Then I did BIC today morning la. Then after we finished we were at Peg's bball court resting and I happened to chat with ppl from other coys. "so what time are u bokking out today?" "Eh our officers told us around 12.45pm lor. Ya..."
WTF!!!!
Our officers told us we'd be booking out at 8.30pm.
Ya...
So never mind. We went to coy line. And we asked them why we so late then book out la. They say "oh cuz today got 3 coys enlisting so a lot of parents coming in and out, a bit inconvenient to let u all book out la..." LJ ok! Then how come other coys can book out??!!
Then we realised their ulterior motive. More sai gang. They want us to help with the enlisting of the new recruits. Things like making sure they know which pt,sect, bed they belong to and where they will be sleeping. Then after that Lincoln and I had to settle some lost sheep and bring them to change items that don't fit, then also bring 2 platoons and lost sheep to cut hair blah blah blah... sai gang all the way until 6 la. Then slack at Pt office.
The only fun I had was in ordering the recruits around. After all I'm a private right??!! Muhahaha!!! It feels well just a little fun only la. I was very polite ok? I kept using "Excuse me" and "Thanks". Wadeva. Greet the private here k??!! Muhahaha! No la I din ask them to.
SAF is rather fu*ked up la. Must be careful when I go to new posting. More politics and catches and all the little traps and all...
